Looking for Guitar/Music shops in NYC…?
I’m headed to Staten Island to visit Mandolin Bros. While I’m in the NYC area, I’d also like to find decent shops where I can find used or inexpensive guitars. Can anyone point me in the right direction? -Anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens is doable.
I usually go to 48th street between 6th and 7th ave. There you will find Sam Ash and Manny’s. Both have great instruments, both new and used. Along the street there are other music stores. The problem is that they are not cheap! reasonable or fair is more like it.
