What do You suggest I Do?
Okay! The cord connecting the cymbal to the drum kit of the guitar hero world tour set snapped! My dad found out how to fix it but doesnt have the correct tools! so should -
1) Buy Rock band 2 with the drum set
or
2) Buy a soldering iron, fix the drums, and buy the rock band 2 software
???

I personally wouldn’t do either – I’d take it back to the shop to get a proper repair/replacement (especially if you still have a warranty). If this isn’t possible, then you can send off to Sony or whoever makes it (possibly Electronic Arts?) for a replacement wire/kit.
Whilst soldering is fun, it would probably be messy and if you are only going to use the kit for this, it is a waste of money (even if they are only £10).
If you are going to buy Rock Band II then it is just under £25 on Amazon.com, but to buy the drums is an extra £35 minimum (at least from what I’ve found) – so I would try first of all to replace the drums that you currently own, before spending more money.
