Do you have any information/tips on guitar and singing lessons?
I LOVED music ever since I picked up my guitar about a year ago. I taught myself what I know, but I want to get better and actually know that I’m good, so I want to take lessons this summer.
Where should I look for them? At a music store? or where will i find the best teachers?
I would also love to take singing lessons, but my voice is bad. Not tone deaf or anything, but still bad. Do you have to have the “gift” to take lessons? I just don’t want to look stupid or anything lol. I know it’s not magic, and I won’t have a beautiful voice, lol, but i just want to get better. What do u guys think?
I’m 17 and female
I’m only a singer (15) so I can’t help you with the guitar thing. Here are my tips on singing:
Breathing:
Place your hands on your diaphragm and breathe out four counts, then breathe in four counts. Do the same for three, two, then one.
Place your hands on your rib cage and breathe out counting 1;1, 2;1, 2, 3…to 10.
Diction:
Sing scales Do Re Mi…in your comfortable range to a piano or keybaord.
Of course La la la always works.
Sing silly words like zingamomma zingamomma zingamomma zingamomma zing zing zing. (consanents)
Ah-leh-eh-loo-uh and Mee-meh-maw-moh-moo for vowels.
I use all of these exercises every day in choir and voice lessons. Also, take a look at these websites for other tips:

Always remember to warm up properly 5-10 minutes before singing. Drink lots of water and keep good posture so air can flow through your body and you can sustain your notes much better. Stretch your arms and neck to release tension in your upper body. Rest your voice for a few days when you are ill or tired. Be confident and have fun!
Another great place to shop for guitar tone tips products is Amazon. They have more than just books!
