I’m a beginner at guitar. i’ve got a chart that looks like this, written on a staff:

I know those numbers are the frets I have to play. But how do I know what fingers to use for the frets?
It’s not as easy as it looks.
try to find a friend to play with. Someone a little more experienced or just a beginner. It will make learning more fun and you will improve a lot faster.
I understand where your coming from though, i went through the exact same problem.
If you are using Tabs thats great, but incorporate some scales into your daily practice and learn what each note is on the fretboard as quickly as you can.
This guy explains the fretboard pretty good, but it takes until about 2:40 in before he gets to what I’m talking about.
Play it a few times and you’ll learn a lot…
