Small amp for recording?
I am looking to buy a small amp around 10 watts to put in an isolation box to record. I Know tube amps are better but I cant really afford one right now, cause all my money went to other items for my home studio. but I have come down to 2 choices, both around 115$ new. I’m guessing both of these amps will probably overdrive quite well.
I don’t actually have either of these, but it looks like the Orange is a little more highly regarded.

Don’t forget you can get some truly good sounding guitar sounds with amp modeling after going direct with your guitar. I’m sure a mix of the two would do just fine for many recordings.
