My bridge pins on my acoustic guitar wont stay, Why is this?
Yesterday i bought some new strings for my guitar and when i came home i removed the pins using pliers instead of pin remover because i didn’t buy one. I used the pliers to remove them by doing a side to side move and luckily they came out but the E string was harder and took some time to remove. When i tried restoring the strings, all went in pretty well except two of the strings. As I would tune the guitar, the pin would start popping out and will not go all the way in the bridge. Does this mean that I messed up the bridge or the pins are worn out and have to buy new ones. I sure hope I did not mess up the guitar because it was given to me by a family member and i don’t want to replace it. Please help me!!!

You will have to loosen the strings with the popped bridge pins and start over, not a big deal.
